About Me

Hi, my name is Gaven Hafner, I am an award-winning photographer and graphic designer based in Toledo Ohio.

 

For my photography background I primarily specialize in photojournalism, studio work, portraits, video, product photography, and for my graphic design work I mostly do advertising, logo design, product/packaging design, branding, and digital campaigns.

I have always been passionate about photography, and I learned to love graphic design later on in life as well. My first ever camera was a digital point-and-shoot style camera that I received when I was a little kid. I took that camera almost everywhere I went and took pictures of just about anything that caught my eye.

 

Later on in life, I decided to go to Ownes Community College for visual communications which is where I found my second love which was graphic design. After that, I decided to double major in photography and graphic design.  

 

Since then, I have been in multiple exhibitions and won multiple awards for my work including a Bronze Addy Award from the American Advertising Federation (AAF) for my graphic design work, The David Canter Memorial Award for a photojournalism photo, and 3rd place in a student show for a studio photo which was sold in the same exact student show. 

 

When I am not taking pictures or doing graphic design work, I enjoy spending time with family and camping in the summer. In the future I hope to produce even more visually appealing and artistic works that will captivate people's imaginations and leave them in awe of what they see.
